Uranos Sarıkaya is a large Turkish restaurant on the Gülşehir road just outside Avanos, opposite the second stone bridge over the Kızılırmak. It is a common lunch stop for tours, typically serving a set menu of lentil soup, salad, pottery kebab with rice and baklava.
